Protect Our Oceans

Heeding recent Call-to-Action from GreenPeace ...  to Protect our Seabeds  - campaign to ban-bottom-trawling.

This is not drag-net fishing (hand-held & dispersed nets in shallow waters) - rather hard-core endless trawling of the ocean floor destroying everything in its path"

I learned of this decades ago and am shocked New Zealand participates in this brutal ecologically destructive process in the Tasman ocean.

Similar activities from Australia and the Pacific are heavily regulated, this part of the process banned.
