SUSTAINABILITY
ROSES ECHO ALIGNS WITH THREE UN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS:
These goals reflect our values, and underpin our supplier standards, procurement decisions, and business practices.
SDG 12: RE practices sustainable procurement, carefully selecting suppliers, encouraging open discussions that support circular economy principles - this includes end-of-life solutions for products and packaging stewardship.
SDG 13: RE actively reduces our carbon footprint and supports a regeneration initiative.
SDG 14: RE donates to WWF NZ - Oceans, and volunteers with Sea Cleaners NZ. Follow related stories and headlines on our Echo blog.

OUR COMMITMENT
Our primary goal is to develop Roses Echo to a community standing we can be earthly proud of - and share our learnings so others can follow.
HOW WE OPERATE
Planet-friendly packaging:
Pollastic bags and mailers (inner and outer packaging) made from Ocean-bound plastic with clever double-seal closures for easy reuse.
Bamboo cartons and envelopes - bamboo is rapidly renewable and has carbon sinking qualities.
FSC rated Cardboard cartons and/or envelopes.
Eco-friendly stationery.
Reuse incoming packaging, reducing office and operating costs.
Stewardship options for non-reused waste.
Regeneration project Trees that Count, offsets a percentage of our business operating costs, applying carbon credits from calculated emissions. We also use low-carbon power when possible.
Suppliers selected (product, and service support) based on their product specs; certified efforts; and contributions to nature.
Sustainability communication is evolving - we stay informed through industry research and events, and update accordingly.
Roses Echo recycle; reuse; apply stewardship; regenerate; operate low carbon; minimise waste; plastic-free where possible; donate; and volunteer.
We are 100% Kiwi owned and operated.
